Using this website and venue

Scope of these terms

These terms govern your access to the Card Den Outback Aces website and your attendance at our physical venue in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, QLD, Australia. They apply across the offline poker venue, poker room Brisbane setting, card lounge, restaurant and related venue spaces. Please read them before using site information, making an enquiry or attending the venue. They are intended to explain practical expectations for visitors and guests in clear language.

Information and venue operations

Website information is provided for general information and may change as venue operations change. Poker games, poker tournaments, poker tables, dining availability and access to venue areas may be affected by current circumstances. You remain responsible for checking relevant details before attending or relying on information provided online. Published information is not, by itself, a binding reservation confirmation, a promise of capacity or an assurance that a particular activity will be available.

Eligibility and access

Poker room conduct

Respect for the game and other guests

Serious poker players participating in poker games or observing the poker room are expected to act respectfully and orderly. Please respect professional poker tables, dealers, staff and other guests. Do not engage in behaviour that disrupts face-to-face poker, distracts other participants or interferes with the shared venue environment. The aim is a focused setting where real poker can proceed with consideration for everyone present.

Staff directions and table procedures

You must follow reasonable directions from venue staff and dealers, including table procedures communicated at the venue. Procedures at real poker tables may differ according to the activity or event taking place in the poker room. If a direction or procedure is unclear, ask a member of staff for clarification before acting. These terms do not replace procedures that may be communicated directly for a particular table or activity.

Prohibited disruption

Harassment, threats, damage, interference with play or conduct that compromises a safe and orderly venue environment is prohibited. These standards apply in the poker room Brisbane setting, the card lounge and shared spaces. Where conduct is inconsistent with these standards, Card Den Outback Aces may take action under the access clause above. The expectation is straightforward: help maintain a respectful environment for poker, hospitality and attendance.

Reservations, attendance and availability

Reservation requests

A request to “Reserve a poker table” is a request only. It does not itself guarantee a table, seat, poker game, tournament place or entry to the venue. A request is accepted only when Card Den Outback Aces provides relevant confirmation or venue communication. Please do not make travel or attendance decisions on the assumption that a request has been accepted unless you have received confirmation from the venue.

Availability and changes

Poker tables, poker games, poker tournaments, dining areas and venue access may be affected by demand, operations, private activity or other circumstances. Premium poker describes the intended venue experience; it is not a guarantee of any particular game, table, service or availability. Check current relevant details before travelling to the venue, particularly where your attendance depends on access to a particular area or activity.

Guest information and arrival

Information you provide for a reservation or enquiry, including contact details, must be accurate. Inaccurate information may affect the venue’s ability to respond to your request or communicate relevant attendance information. Please follow any arrival or venue instructions that are communicated to you. Our handling of personal information is described separately in the Privacy Policy; this document does not reproduce those privacy terms.

Restaurant, bar and shared spaces

Shared-space conduct

The same expectations of respect, safety and compliance with reasonable staff directions apply in the restaurant, bar, card lounge, entry and all shared venue spaces. These areas support the overall offline poker venue experience and must be used with consideration for other guests and staff. Conduct that is unsuitable in the poker room may also be unsuitable elsewhere in the venue, particularly where it disrupts a shared environment.

Personal property and care of the venue

Please take reasonable care of your personal belongings and of venue property. Do not damage or misuse furniture, poker tables, cards, chips or other equipment. To the extent permitted by applicable law, guests may be responsible for loss or damage caused by their conduct. This clause does not set fixed charges or presume responsibility in every circumstance; it records the basic expectation that all guests treat the venue and its equipment with care.

Website use

Permitted use

You may use this website for legitimate information, venue enquiry and poker table reservation-related purposes. The site supports a physical, real poker venue; it is not a platform for online poker gameplay. You must not use the website in a way that disrupts its operation, impairs access for other users or conflicts with the practical purpose for which the site is made available.

Prohibited website activity

Do not use the website or venue communications for unlawful, misleading, harmful or disruptive purposes. This includes attempts to interfere with website operation, provide false information, misuse enquiries or communicate in a way that unreasonably affects staff or other visitors. The prohibition is expressed broadly to keep the site useful and orderly, rather than to create an exhaustive list of technical or operational restrictions.

Third-party services and links

If external services or links are provided, they are governed by their own terms. Card Den Outback Aces is not responsible for third-party content, practices or availability. Review the relevant third-party terms before using those services. Where personal information is relevant to your use of this website, you should also review our Privacy Policy as the separate page describing that subject.

Content and intellectual property

Venue content and brand materials

Website text, design elements, brand materials and other content associated with Card Den Outback Aces are protected as applicable. You must not reproduce, adapt, distribute or use those materials without permission, except where applicable law permits. This includes, for example, poker imagery and poker-room content displayed on the site. Nothing in these terms asserts rights beyond those that may apply or restricts uses that the law allows.

Third-party materials

Third-party names, marks or materials remain subject to their respective rights where they appear on the website or at the venue. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use third-party materials. Their appearance, where applicable, should not be understood as a transfer of ownership, permission or endorsement beyond the context in which the material is presented.

No guarantee of uninterrupted information

Reasonable efforts may be made to keep venue information useful, but the website may not always be complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free. This includes general information about the poker room, poker games and poker tournaments. Confirm relevant details before relying on them for attendance or other decisions. Information can change as operations change, and no statement on the site should be treated as permanently current in every circumstance.

Liability limited as permitted

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Card Den Outback Aces does not accept responsibility for loss arising from use of this website or attendance at the venue where that responsibility can lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. This clause should be read as a practical legal limit, not as an absolute statement that all responsibility is removed.

Changes and severability

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will show its effective date, which for this version is 13 September 2026. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be read as limited to the extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue to apply. We do not undertake to provide advance notice or a revision archive through this document.
